Pre-Season– $30 (price good through June 5th)
Season– $40
Weekly -$22 (Saturday through Friday)

Senior– $12 (65 years , must be purchased in person, beginning November 2018, with proof of age)
Holiday– $32 (available November through December, packaged in a gift box-perfect for holiday gift giving)

Badges can be purchased at the Borough Hall during the “off-season” Monday -Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm.  During the spring the Beach Badge Booth opens for limited hours. During the season the Beach Badge Booth is open every day from 8:00am until 6:00pm or badges can be purchased on the beach from a Badge Checker.

Harvey Cedars

Badges are required on all beaches beginning June 23, 2018
for anyone 12 years of age or older.

2018 Badge Rates – 2019 Rates are not available yet.

Weekly Badges $20.00
Daily Badges $6.00

Senior badges available for persons 65 & over – $9.00 per season.
Seniors must purchase senior badges in person with proof of age.

Active Military – Free daily beach admission shall be provided to active members of the United States Armed Services and their dependents upon the presentation of a valid military status identification card to any badge-checker or Borough personnel.

Veterans – Free daily beach admission shall be provided to any person who has served in any of the Armed Forces of the United States and upon presentation of acceptable proof of honorable discharge to any badge-checker or Borough personnel.

All badges may be purchased at the beach badge booth in Sunset Park starting June 23rd.
Daily & weekly badges may be purchased from the Badge Checker on the beach.
Only cash or checks are accepted.

Surf City

The Beach Badge Booth , located at 813 Long Beach Boulevard, typically opens in April  through Labor Day from 9 am until 4:30 pm.  After the season begins badges may also be purchased from any badge checker on the beach from 10 am until 5 pm.

Lifeguards & Badge Checkers will be on duty from 10 am to 5 pm. Valid Surf City beach badges are required for all individuals from 12 years of age to 64 years of age whenever lifeguards & badge checkers are on duty. For the 2019 Season, Active Duty Military & their immediate families may access the Beach at no cost with an wrist band obtained from a badge checker.

Surf City Beach Badges are ONLY VALID IN SURF CITY, not all of Long Beach Island.

Beach Badges are required at both bay and ocean beaches from mid June through Labor Day.

Long Beach Township

2019 Seasonal Beach Badge (Holiday, Regular, Senior Citizen and Veteran) for Long Beach Township only.

2019 Regular Seasonal (ages 12 to 64), Senior Citizen (age 65+) and Military Veteran Badges are available for purchase at the Long Beach Township Beach Patrol Office (south end of Bayview Avenue off of 79th Street, Beach Haven Crest), 5 days a week (closed Holidays), from 9a to 4p, until May 10, 2019.  The Beach Badge Shack on 68th Street, Brant Beach, will re-open on Friday, April 19, 2019, and will be open weekends until May 11, when it opens full time (7 days a week) until Labor Day.  (See business hours below.)

Seasonal beach badges may only be purchased at the Long Beach Township Beach Badge sales locations.  Daily & Weekly badges can be purchased at either the LBT Beach Badge Office, on 68th Street in Brant Beach, or on the beach from one of our Beach Badge Checkers (in-season June 15 – September 2).

Senior Citizen Seasonal beach badges can be obtained for $5.00 with proof of age (65 years and older) at the beach badge office on 68th Street in Brant Beach or on the beach from one of our Beach Badge Checkers.  Senior Badges issued prior to the 2010 season (the white badge with red/blue logo) are lifetime badges.  If these older senior badges are lost/misplaced, new badges can be purchased for $5.00 each for the current season.  We are not able to supply replacements.

Military Veteran Seasonal beach badges can be obtained at no cost with valid military identification (i.e.. DD-214, etc.) at the beach badge office on 68th Street in Brant Beach or on the beach from one of our Beach Badge Checkers.

Active military (and their spouse and children) are welcome to visit our beaches at no cost to them, provided they show their active duty ID.  This can be accomplished by showing the actual ID, photocopy or cell phone picture of same.

To reserve Regular Seasonal Badges at Pre-Season Rate:
